The International Chocolate Salon Awards for the SUGAR FREE AWARDS are based on the combined total number of votes received by each entrant from the Judging Panel.
The Judging Panel consists of National and Regional Magazines, Newspaper and Blog Editors, plus Topic Experts, Local Chefs and Food Gurus.
The award winners below have the honor of being able to display and use the Official Award Winner title and award logos, as well as use items (such as the Award Winner lapel pin), as well as use Custom Award Certificates, and logo award merchandise.

- The CocoTutti Chocolates Mixed Berry was delicious -- well balanced and had nice textural contrast between the shell and the filling. I also liked the smoothness and deep chocolate flavor of the Chocopunto 50% Milk Chocolate Sugar Free. It was sweet and had a creamy texture.

- The almonds and cacao nibs didn't come through in the Good Chocolate bars.
Also, the Kakaozon Dark Chocolate bars -- even the 50%-- were bitter and tasted like ash to me. - Most sugar substitutes produce a pronounced cooling/metallic sensation that can compete with the flavor of the confection. My favorite sugar-free chocolates are the ones that provide a lot of flavor (a complex chocolate with fruity or nutty notes, for example) to counter that sensation.
- Love the berries fruit flavors. Yes! more please lol! Mango, passion fruit, coconut crunch, raspberry, strawberry, lemon, orange...
- The Good Chocolate Salted Almond bar might be enhanced with more almonds and with larger bits to add some crunch.
