The Best White Chocolate of 2024 and Awards Winners Announced

We are proud to present the results of the 2024 WHITE CHOCOLATE AWARDS Competition.

The International Chocolate Salon Awards for the 2024 WHITE CHOCOLATE AWARDS are based on the combined total number of votes received by each entrant from the Judging Panel.

The Judging Panel consists of National and Regional Magazines, Newspaper and Blog Editors, plus Topic Experts, Local Chefs and Food Gurus.

The award winners below have the honor of being able to display and use the Official Award Winner title and award logos, as well as use items (such as the Award Product Stickers, Award Winner lapel pin), as well as use Custom Award Certificates, and logo award merchandise.

FAVORITES

I especially liked the exotic Middle Eastern nuance from the rose petals in Deysia’s Rose Petal Truffle. Another favorite was Panache’s Creole Bourbon Foster with its hint of peppery spice on the finish. And my other favorite was Panache’s Lady Grey Latte, a lovely creamy tea combination.

The Chocopunto Blonde Chocolate was my favorite basic white chocolate. It tasted like dulce de leche in bar form. For flavored the Panache Chocolatier Garden Blackberry. Bright and packed with flavor without being overly ambitious with it's combinations.

Amazed by all the varieties. Delysia created great flavors that also showcased their white chocolate. Panache'sChocolatier Creole Bourbon Foster and Garden Blackberry were outstanding..
Delysia keep up the good work
The Panache Garden Blackberry and Lady Grey were melt in the mouth delicious. The texture, flavors and tastes were most impressive . Delysia's Rose Petals and Herbed were enticing and flavorful.
Overall, I found the Chocopunto to provide delicious flavor profiles. Chocofetish left me wanting more than a sample bite. Toute Douceur was trés delicieuse
Both entries from Lulubee were beautiful, delicious and bursting with flavor.

INDIVIDUAL JUDGES' RECOMMENDATIONS FOR CHOCOLATIERS

There must be a range of tastes among powdered milks and lecithins … As chocolate maker, I would want to be sure that any I chose to use would improve taste, not detract from it.
The vegan/nondairy options had an off flavor that clashed and left an odd aftertaste. I've had excellent vegan chocolate in the past, but what I had here was lacking.
Fabulous white chocolate bars and truffles.. Great variety and flavors.
not a huge fan on coconut but that is just a personal preference
Choosing white chocolate as a bar or a truffle style is a complex decision for a consumer. This competition had so many strong products.
I never would have thought to combine espresso with a traditional tea flavoring, but Panache Chocolatier’s Lady Grey Latte works!
I thoroughly enjoyed Coco Caramel bar by Mellow. Salty caramel with toasted coconut flakes and cocoa butter was a real delight! But what's with the packaging? We understand modest and understated, no objections to this concept, but even the most "natural" packaging can retain some elegance, no? If you look at the wrapping paper, this delicious and nicely done chocolate bar looks more like a piece of soap from an orphanage... I'm sure Mellow can do better!
